As an LPN with Z Best Home Care, you’ll deliver hands-on nursing care that supports the health, comfort, and dignity of patients in their homes. Your role focuses on providing reliable, compassionate care while assisting with daily needs and following care plans created by supervising RNs and physicians.
Medication Management
Give oral medications and injections as directed, ensuring patient safety and accuracy..
Vital Signs Monitoring
Record and report blood pressure, heart rate, and other key vitals to supervising RN.
Wound Care
Change dressings, provide basic wound management, and monitor healing progress.
Daily Living Support
Assist with feeding, hygiene, mobility, and comfort to maintain patient dignity.
Clinical Procedures
Perform catheter care, suctioning, and tube feedings under RN or physician direction.
Observation & Reportingn
Identify patient changes, document findings, and promptly communicate concerns to the RN.

Essential Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New York State
- BLS Certification (required)
- Strong practical nursing and communication skills

- Previous experience in home care or clinical settings is preferred but not required

No. While previous experience in home care, hospitals, or clinical settings is preferred, we welcome recent graduates with the proper training and licensure. Orientation and support are provided to help new hires succeed.
We offer flexible scheduling options, including 4-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts. LPNs can choose from day, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts to match their availability.
Private Duty Nurses (RNs) handle advanced clinical tasks such as assessments, IV medications, and care planning. LPNs focus on hands-on care, medication administration (oral and injections), wound care, and patient monitoring under RN or physician supervision.
